The term "Breville" was coined in 1932 when the founders, Bill O'Brien and Harry Norville decided to mix their names. Breville a well trusted brand for domestic appliances originated in Melbourne, Australia in 1932. They are the proud inventors of the original sandwich toaster and have established themselves among household appliances in the early 80s. Also Breville has to its credit the award-winning chef Antony Worrall Thompson working with them since 2001.
